Danae is from Fresno, CA a 2017 graduate and four-year letterwinner at Clovis West High School (coached by Craig Campbell) in Fresno, Calif….as a senior helped guide her team to a 34-2 record, a CIF Open Division championship and finished the year as ESPN, MaxPreps and the Army National Guard’s top-ranked high school team in the nation and Cal-HI Sports State Team of the Year…for her career, went 40-0 in earning four straight Tri-Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) championships and four valley championships…her teams never finished outside the top-10 ranking in the state…in addition, earned four consecutive Central Section titles…her teams posted a 117-15 record in four years…2017 first-team MaxPreps.com All-State selection…named TRAC MVP as a senior and co-MVP as a junior…Fresno Bee Player of the Year as a junior and co-Player of the Year as a senior…a three-time scholar-athlete and all-valley performer…two-time all-state selection…two-time team MVP…three-time All-TRAC honoree…two-time Coach’s Award recipient…four times she was named all-tournament or MVP.
She then went on to play at San Jose State. She played all four years and finish fourth on the all time assist list before leaving with her degree in 2021. Now she is in Baltimore playing her fifth year. D story is dope, I hope you enjoy it!

Sam Luong is a native of Sacramento, where he played high school basketball at McClatchy High School. He then played college ball at Dominican University where he named his team’s Defensive Player of Year for three seasons and earned a B.A degree in Communications in 2005. From 2001 – 2005, Luong helped lead Dominican to 108 victories, three consecutive conference titles and four NAIA National Tournament appearances.
Honing his professional game every summer in Sacramento, Luong furthered his playing career as a combo guard in Europe. He was named Rookie of the Year/Media Player of the Year in 2006 for the first division Kings Lynn Fury of the England Basketball League, averaging 17.5 points and 5 assists per game. Upon retiring in 2008, Luong led summer skills camps, conducted private training for youth and devoted his time to passing on the life lessons the game has taught him.
“Sacramento Skills Academy is my heart and soul. I love my teammates, Danielle, AP and Aaron. If a player will learn one thing working with us, it’s going to be how to work hard at something and get the results they deserve.”

The Pikeville, KY native earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Eastern Kentucky University in 1998. He also serves on the Bamberg, Calhoun, Orangeburg County Board of Trustee’s for The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (F.C.A.) and is a member of Epsilon Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Over the past 15 plus years, Garvin has served as a motivational speaker for several different organizations and civic groups. His passion for leadership and to inspire and encourage people to reach for their dreams and that the best days of their lives are still ahead of them serves as the purpose of most of his speaking engagements. In the summer of 2011, Garvin participated in the NCAA-Black Coaches and Administrators Achieving Coaching Excellence (ACE) Program. He was one of 12 men’s basketball coaches selected nationwide to participate in a four-day event in Indianapolis, Ind.
Coach Garvin spent six seasons as the head coach at South Carolina State. He is now the current boys head coach at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington, KY. Coach is just a great person and caring coach.

Coach Collins graduated from Belmont University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in physical education. He went on to earn his master's degree in sports administration from TSU. While at Belmont coach Penny was a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. He served as team captain as well. Helped take the Bruins to their first ever NCAA Division 1 Tournament appearance during his senior year in 2006.
Coach Penny has really earned his stripes, spending time at TSU as a grad assistant, then to East Tennessee State as an assistant coach in 2015-2017.
In March of 2018 Coach Penny was officially stamped as the next head coach at Tennessee State University! We get into the struggles of coaching and also the blessings and how things fell right into place for coach! Enjoy this interview I sure did!. Check out the website 94feetwithcoachjt.com

Devean was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota . He attended high school at Benilde-St. Margaret's School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, where he played basketball. During his college career at Augsburg College, George was named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player two consecutive years (1997–98 and 1998–99), and set school records as a senior by scoring 770 points and averaging 27.5 ppg in leading Augsburg to 24–4 record and the NCAA Division III tournament for the second year in a row.
He was taken by the Lakers with the 23rd overall pick of the 1999 NBA Draft, and showed considerable promise, especially by his third season where his hustle, outside shooting, and defense made him a key substitute and he appeared in every single game. George was a contributor to the Los Angeles Lakers three straight championship seasons.

Nisha was born in Oakland Ca, is a mentor and Multiple sport athlete all through college. She attended Vanden HighSchool. She was a participant and crowned Champion in the Women's USA Baseball Championship! Also she is an HBCU graduate from Morgan State University, and she has spent some time as a reporter and tv personal.
Nisha talks about going to Japan after her Sr. year in high school, to rep the USA. Also for all women of color in the USA Baseball games. Then a week later She walked away from Canada, with the Best Female Pitcher in the World award! To go along with the 1st place medal. She went crazy with an ERA of 00.00 and the MVP award 2004!
We talk B-More and HBCU life and how now she is coaching youth baseball and hoops.

Ikenna and Uc Iroegbu brothers are from Sacramento, CA. They attended Sutter middle school. After middle school they chose Franklin high school before going their separate ways. Ike chose thee Oakhill academy and Uc chose Capital Christian. Ike went on to win a national championship in high school and then attended Washing State University. Uc took the national JC route at Southern Idaho before landing at Stoney Brook. I have watched and coached against both of these young men during their high school days. They truly love the game and what it brings to them and their family. Speaking of family lets not forget the big brother Chuks!!!! These bothers really set the bar high and are keeping the pressure going. Ike and Uc have spent time in the G league and both are now working hard to make their Nigerian national basketball team roster!!!!
