    Brian is originally from McComb, Mississippi. In Mississippi, he played both competitive basketball and baseball. Brian helped lead his high school to three state 2A championships in a row and was named Clarion Ledger Metro Player of the Year. Brian is considered one of the greatest high school basketball players in Mississippi History.  Following a successful prep career, Brian decided to attend Alcorn State University after having offers from Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Clemson. Brian was named SWAC Freshman of the year and was also Pre Season 1st Team All-Conference and help restore the program back to prominence by winning the conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. (1996 draft class was CRAZY)

Brian also went on to have a professional career playing in countries such as Germany, Norway and Portugal. After, a successful playing career in Europe he returned to his alma mater of Alcorn State to be an assistant coach under his mentor and former two time NBA Champion Larry Smith. Brian, has been very successful as a player development coach having a chance to work with numerous NBA Champions, WNBA, European, Collegiate, High School and Middle school basketball players. September 2019, Brian was inducted into the Alcorn State Sports Hall Of Fame.
